The first yes
2025
Utah was the first school to say yes. When Saturday Co was barely an idea, Utah took a chance on me with a license before anyone else would. Then they had me out for a game: a tailgate with the people who made it happen, and my girlfriend and me on the field at halftime of Utah versus Colorado. The Utes ran away with it and Coach Prime was coming unglued on the other sideline. Somewhere between the tailgate and the fourth quarter I fell for the whole place: the traditions, the landmarks, the sayings, the people. I will never forget it.
Utah took a chance on us first.

The place
Learned firsthand
That weekend I got to see Utah up close: the Park Building at the top of Presidents Circle, the Block U on the hill, the drum and feather everywhere, the MUSS on its feet and a whole stadium singing Utah Man. You cannot design that from a template. You have to stand in it. Utah made me feel at home, and I wanted to do right by them.
Utah deserves more than a template.

The drawing
Hand-drawn
So every Utah piece starts with what I learned there. Take the Western collection: the Park Building under the Wasatch, a hawk on the wing, a cowboy taking it all in, and the line every Ute knows underneath it. A Utah Man Am I. Drawn by hand, printed on heavyweight cotton, then run through the University's licensing program, so the school signs off on the design and gets paid on every order.
